FAQs
WHAT IS A CONGREGATE LIVING HEALTH FACILITY VS A SKILLED NURSING FACILITY?
A Congregate Living Health Facility (CLHF) is a residential-sized facility with fewer than 25 beds specific to California only. We offer all the same services as a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and more. This includes PT/OT/ST/RT services, a Medical Director with a following Nurse Practitioner, In-House Labs, In-House X-Rays, and 24/7 Nursing. What makes a CLHF different is our ability to serve more medically complex patients that fall under subacute needs such as tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients.
HOW MANY BEDS DO YOU HAVE AND ARE YOU MEDICARE CERTIFIED?
We are an 18-bed facility and are not Medicare-certified, due to not being nationally recognized.
WHAT ARE YOUR SPECIALTIES?
We specialize in trach/vent management, complex wound care, young adults, special needs, post-amputation care, TBI oversight, intensive rehabilitation, strokes, and spinal cord injuries.
WHAT INSURANCES DO YOU ACCEPT?
Workers Compensation, Managed Care Plans, PACE Programs, Private Pay, and local Regional Center affiliations.
